Due to personal circumstances, I was temporarily relocated to Boon Keng area. There I chanced upon White House Teochew porridge. Located along a stretch of quaint roadside shophouses reminiscent of old Singapore architecture. I decided to give their fish head bee hoon a try.

Crispy fish head, minced meat, rich soup and decent noodles.

I was blown away by the soup with its rich taste that could only have come about with hours simmering in the pot, and the fish head itself that was fried before being incorporated into the bowl. Giving the soup an additional dimension in its flavour.
